There are two types of cash rewards for clubs at the end of the season - one is based on finishing position and the other is based on performance according to expectations.
Both types of cash rewards apply to Premiership and Championship respectively.
End of Season Prize Money
Champions = € 10,000,000
Runner-up = € 8,000,000
Third = € 6,000,000
Fourth = € 5,000,000
Fifth = € 4,000,000
Sixth = € 3,000,000
Seventh = € 1,500,000
Eighth = € 1,000,000
End of Season Sponsorship
Prior to the start of each season, there will be an expectation for each club as to where the club should finish on the league table by season's end. The expectations for Season 1 will be established as a result of the club's current monetary situation as well as the quality of the players available.
Each club will receive a base sponsorship of € 4,000,000. The sponsorship will increase by € 1,000,000 for each position the club finishes above its expectations, while it will drop by € 1,000,000 for each position a club finishes below its expectations.
The effect is that "overachievers" will benefit far more while teams who finish four or more positions below their expectations will not receive any sponsorship, although the club will still receive any league prize money that club is applicable for.
