TEAMSHEET LIMITS
When creating a teamsheet, you will need to include your abbreviated team name, the letter of your starting tactic, the starting line-up and five substitutes (all with designated positions), penalty taker and any tactical changes. For those unfamiliar with creating teamsheets, please either check The Training Pitch section or contact the game administrator directly.
ESMS+ requires that positional limits be put in place for the sake of fairness. Please bear in mind that DMs and AMs count towards the tally of MFs in the game engine's positional limits:
Pos Limits
DF 3 to 5
DM 0 to 2
MF 2 to 6
AM 0 to 3
FW 1 to 4
Any manager attempting to circumvent the positional limits or otherwise attempt to manipulate the match engine mechanics will be dealt with severely by the game administrator. Affected matches may also be replayed.
Any teamsheet errors made by managers will also be punished. In the event of teamsheet errors, managers will be notified of the error and how to fix it. The first offence will be supplied with a warning, then each offence after that will be accompanied with a 100k fine to the club.
SQUAD LIMITS
Since there is a separate senior and reserve roster, there will be only three limits on squads over the course of a season.
Once a season starts, only five players can move between senior and reserve squads a week. Squad movements are made on Thursday along with transfers.
No club may have more than 22 youth players (defined as age 20 or under) between both squads. If more than 22 youth players are at a club at the start of the game, you will have the option of selling youths up until Week 4 of Season 1 in order to reach the quota.
Managers will not be permitted to field players in their reserve teams with a primary stat rating of 15 or over. If this does occur, the player will be moved to the senior squad during the following squad updates.
