Positional training is a unique feature of Football Online and will enable certain players to become adaptable from one position to another.
There will be two forms of positional training - the primary skill swap and the secondary skill swap.
Primary Skill Swap
Primary skill swaps will allow for a player's primary skill to switch from one skill to another. if a secondary stat is between two and four skill points below the player’s primary stat, that player will be applicable for a primary skill swap. This means that the affected secondary stat will be raised to the current primary stat level minus one full skill point. The current primary stat would then be lowered to one point below the new primary stat.
Eg. Barry 27 eng 1 11 14 7 would be applicable for a position change and if the manager decided to change Barry to a defender, Barry would become:
Barry 27 eng 1 13 12 7
Secondary Skill Swap
Secondary skill swaps will allow some players to move one skill point from one secondary position to the other. There are conditions to this, however. Secondary skill swaps may apply only to outfield players and the benefitting secondary skill must end up over four skill points behind the primary stat. In Barry's case, he would be able to divert a tackling point to shooting but not the other way around.
A player can only undergo one skill swap per season and can only pick one type of skill swap per season.
If a club is interested in making a skill swap, please e-mail the administrator personally to make your request.
